O an op generator starts but stops

Had a half tank of propane and topped it off for an upcoming trip. I run it every month for 15-20 minutes with the a/c running for a load. Started it today, came back 15 minutes later and it was off. Warning light was blinking. I checked it and it is fault code 36 I turned the propane switch on after filling so it’s not that. Started it again and it runs for a minute or so and shuts down again. Any ideas?

Most likely cause is an automatic safety shutoff.  I have not looked at the specs on this generator, but most will shut down if the oil pressure drops too low or if the coolant temperature gets too high.  They will also shutdown if there is some electrical problem, but your AC is working so that is not it.  I had this problem once on a boat.  Reminds me that I need to check my generator oil and coolant.

Check the propane regulator under the chassis near the propane tank. Mine had excess oil stains on the regulator and protective cover. My olan generator would start run about 20-30 seconds then shut down. replaced the regulator, runs fine.

Our 2019 Wonder had the same propane regulator issue.
