Extra Brake and Reverse Lights on Rear?

We have a 2022 Wonder RTB. Finding the exterior lighting to be a bit dim. Specifically the headlight low and high beams and the reverse lights. Also concerned the brake lights are spaced so far apart people may not see them as quickly if they're close. We've modified to get some lights on rear sides and front (separate switches run to their own power). But has anyone tried adding additional brake and/or reverse light(s) on rear of Wonder?

I know how to wire things on separate power and switch. But want to tap in so the lights come on when brakes are applied or vehicle in R. On the internet, I'm reading about issues tapping into lights directly (something about blowing up Ford's CAN bus and/or there not being enough power for aux lighting coming off of existing?). And using trailer 7-pin to 4-pin adapter to use strip lighting is yielding all sorts of Ford faults and lights don't work as they should (and it has your Ford in "trailer" mode the entire time).

Anyone have experience? Ideas?

I added 2 long led lights up high to clear my tow car.  They are wired in to the brake lights.
