3-way refrigerator performance

Hi all!

My wife and I travel for 5-6 months a year and are looking for more interior space that our Pleasure-way Ontour 2.2 provides.  We love the design of the Wonder, and the Murphy bed layout solves a lot of the storage issues we experience in our current rig.

We are both hesitant to move away from a 12 volt fridge.  We frequently camp with our van unleveled and know camping unleveled and high heat can be a challenge for adsorption refrigerators.

Has anyone swapped an adsorption fridge for a 12 volt in a Wonder?  Also would appreciate hearing from others if our concerns about refrigerator performance is unwarranted.  We have no previous experience with adsorption refrigerators.

Thank you,

Joe

We have a 2021 Wonder with a 3way dometic fridge. Very happy with 3 choices of powering it. We are careful/gentle with closing and opening to not stress door hinges. It can open both sides, but we just use one. In 30 degrees C it can stuggle a bit but we do put a battery fan in it.

We hqve a 2021 TB and with a fan in the fridge in the coils my fridge gets down to 32 and it gets even colder it you set frozen bottles of water in front of fans on top shelf. We love our 12v fridge.
