The rubber seal/hinge part of our outer storage compartments are dried, cracking and leaking.  Can they be replaced.
2012 Unity. 
Outer storage doors appear to be attached with a rubber hinge on the top that acts as a water barrier as well.  The rubber is dried, cracked and the door has fallen off when unlocked. In heavy rains the compartment fills with about 1/4" of water

there are a number of methods on the Sprinter forum - Unity subforum that show how to install a new hinge.  and i think a few youtube videos.
or you can try to recover them by spraying silicone spray 2 or 3 times for the next month if not
when you get a new hinge installed make sure you spray then 2 to 4 times a year depending on which area you store it.
