Upgrading radio/head unit navigation

I’ve a 2016 Unity which I would like to upgrade the radio/head unit to a more modern larger screen with Navigation/car play etc. Any suggestions. I’ve looked at a list that Crutchfield offers with CarPlay capabilities (Alpine-Pioneer-Sony-Jensen..) Any suggestions. Thanks ……Happy Holidays

We replaced our head unit in our 2018 Unity with the Kenwood DMX1057XR. Fantastic screen and the installation company did a great job connecting steering wheel functionality and review camera. If you are an apple user the CarPlay works great.

I just did this in our 2018 chassis Unity twin bed. I used Crutchfield and got an inexpensive open box Kenwood unit with apple carplay and android auto. I would recommend that you have them pre-wire the wiring harness for you and get the adapter for steering wheel controls. There are so many wires, colors and connectors that it is a little daunting. I wired the harness first, took my instructions from Crutchfield, along with the adapter kits and opened up the dash. Went very well. I made sure to call during support hours. I needed them once for a silly question and they were terrific and very thorough. They are a terrific resource. Do it!
