Our LTV unity we went with the diesel generator so we did not have to share the LP gas with it and they also will last a lot longer being diesel. The Unity came with the Zantrax inverter which we blew up 1 month into it and thats another story but Zantrax is junk and I put in a 3k watt Victron inverter. Wow what a difference in options including the Auto Gen Start feature with Victron along with it being 110% smart set up. You can view everything remotely with Victron and NOTHING with Zantrex.

That being said has anyone set up the Auto Start Gen with the Victron inverter yet? There are a lot of different setting you can do for it to start including low voltage, temp inside RV, test run i.e  every 20 days and many more. Not a lot of info exactly how to do it and I am looking for some help with the 2 or 3 wires that are needed for it mainly on the generator side.

Does the Victron 3K inverter have dc to dc charging capability or does a separate charger need to be added?

The inverter has nothing to do with a dc to dc charger. Separate devices.
Inverter charges house batteries.  Dc to dc charges house & chassis batteries.
