Storage Door Struts

The support for the storage door strut came unglued from one of the storage doors. This is the second one (maybe the same one twice).  There are no service centers for LTV within 300 miles in Iowa so I need to repair it myself.
Anyone ever glue one on and what type of glue did you use?

This project sounds like impending disaster.  Ill take advice anyone can share.

I just did this on my 2015 Unity. I used JB Weld, but first I roughed up the fiberglass on the inside of the door where the bracket is glued on (you can easily see where the glue was) with a sanding attachment for my drill, then I did a lot of sanding on the bracket where it is glued on. If you don't rough up both surfaces the JB Weld won't adhere well. I padded the exterior of the door (to avoid scratches) then "C" clamped the bracket in place. Let it sit overnight, reattach the hydraulic strut, and presto, like new. I'm sure there are other glues that work in this application. Just an FYI, you don't have to take the hydraulic strut off the vehicle, just compress it with your hand to get it out of the storage area so you can reattach it to the bracket. In case another bracket falls off, carry a  dowel cut to the right length to brace the door open.
