Wonder awning trouble

Is anyone having trouble with the Carefree awning? My awning will not keep the limit switches in place so it will not close all the way and has to be hand cranked. Any remedies to suggest?

Are you saying that after adjusting the limit switches the awning will not retract completely?

This is a '21 Wonder. The awning has always stuck in the "in" position and had to be started out by pushing up with a stick. Thats one problem that has been on going. The next problem is the limit switches. All season I've had to close the awning manually from about
1 1/2 ft out and when its fully extended it flops. So I took it to a dealer in North Carolina who reset the limit switches. That lasted two days. It's now back to stopping about 1 1/2 ' out again. Back to dealer later. I've spoken with my consumer tech who sent me directions for repair. And he told me they've changed awning brands now but they are not compatible for replacement. And the dealer in NC told me many ppl have had the same problems with this awning.

The pushing up with a stick can be eliminated by installing small ramps or wedges that Carefree offers for free.

Staying out 1 1/2’ sounds like limit switch adjustment, they can be touchy.

Thank you thank you! No one ever told me there was a fix for the awning/stick problem. Called Carefree. Part is on the way. Now there's just the limit switches.
