Why Tow?

Hi, I'm new to this forum.  I recently sold my 35' class A and want to downsize to a LTV or a class B.  Coming from a Class A, I think class B may be too small for us but worry that the LTV may have parking problem going into town.
The reason for me to downsize is I no longer want to tow a car behind it.    However, I saw some folks on here are towing a car behind a LTV and want to know why.
1.  Do you have parking problem in town with your LTV or you don't want to break camp too often and needed to tow?
2.  If you're full time or near full time, any parking issues in town?
3.  Anyone with LTV is considering going bigger like back to a class A, or even smaller, like a true class B, and why?
Your thought/opinion is appreciated.    Thanks.

We have no parking problem with our LTV.  Either park in designated, angled spot or take spot and a half in a large lot out from where most cars are parked.  Shopping centers no problem at all. In town, we have even parked in a parallel spot, or maybe two along a curb. The first or last in a row along curb are easy to get in and out.  Be creative!

One reason for towing, the convenience of going when, where you want without packing up thevRv.

Thanks for the reply.  I think we may give it a shot with the LTV without towing.  If we end up needing a tow, we may as well go back to a class A.

I have even done a parrallel parking on a street in the town in one of the National Parks with the LTV. (-:  I can always find a place to park nearby for most places we go.
We discussed getting a toad after 3 yrs but looking at the cost,  decide that renting a car or taking taxis would be a much cheaper option. We can not use ebikes otherwise we might be going that route.
an LTV with a SmartCar size toad is still much better then a Class A.  A neighbour gets 15 l/100km about 15 mpg when towing his car but travelling at 60 mph.

We had a 28' Winnebago class A. Towed an enclosed 16' trailer with a CanAm inside. Did that for 2 years.

Just downsized to a LTV Unity and we're not going to tow this winter and see what we think.

Been gone over a month. We comment daily we are glad we downsized and are not towing.

With the LTV we can get in and out of places easily. Yes, we definitely miss the extra room and storage and extras with the trailer but this winter is working great. No regrets. We like being outside as much as possible anyway.
