We just purchased a nice, low miles, 2022 Wonder 24 FTB from Van Life in Las Vegas. We had ordered a new 24RTB a couple of years ago through Van Life CO Springs, but cancelled it after the price increased to over US$200k. But when we checked out this one in Vegas, its chassis battery was dead until they jumped it for us.
So we want to replace that battery, which we know from replacing the battery on our daughter's 2019 Ford Transit van conversion here in San Diego just last week, is located under the driver's seat.
Does anyone know what battery this '22 Wonder 24FTB takes? Or is it two batteries in this model? Please advise. Thanks,
Tom
PS: We have several other questions for the panel, but will submit those in another posting.
There are 2 AGM 12 volt batteries under the seat. Your owners manual will provide the case size.
Thanks. Unfortunately the manual is in the unit, which is being stored at the dealer's lot in Vegas until we can pick it up on our way back to Denver around May 1st. We want to purcahse the battery(s) and bring them with us for installation at the sealer's lot.
Just go to the battery store, they can look up the number.
I decided to replace mine with Duracells AGM from Sams Club. First 2 replaced, would not hold a charge. Now 2 months later, the replacements won’t hold a charge for more than 2 weeks. The original Fords would hold a charge for months!
Now added a trickle charger, which charges the chassis from the house batteries. It’s working.
