Title: New chassis timing
Post by: DCdude on December 20, 2019, 06:29:42 am
Has anyone heard the timing on the transit gas chassis with increased gvwr?  LTV site still lists the diesel chassis. Will there be a new floor plan?

Lastly, would any of this be revealed at the Tampa show? We are booked to go and hoping to narrow our field from 3 to 1!

Not sure but you might send an email shown below. Would be nice if they also built something on the new option for Ford Transit....... Four-wheel drive for 2020.

I found this on the sprinter forum. This was quoted as a letter that was sent to dealers from LTV. It talks about the delays in sprinter chassis. Here’s the last paragraph:

Wonder - In order to keep our production facility operating, we will be accelerating Wonder production. We will be adding an all-new Wonder floorplan to the lineup in early 2020, as well as starting production using the all-new 2020 Ford Transit chassis in March! Stay tuned for more information.

Sounds exciting!  Hopefully someone will be at Tampa with more info.
